South Africans were so excited and proud of Vigro Deep as he posted a video on his twitter account of his gig overseas. His fans commented under his post ‘’this puts a smile on my face’’ tweeted @sj.3k, another comment said ‘’you go baby boy’’ @a baby girl also tweeted.
The 20-year-old who was born on the 6th of September 2001 in Atteridgeville, west of Pretoria had millions of people dancing, enjoying and vibing to his set in the States. Vigro Deep whose real name is Kamogelo Phetla is also one of the youngest DJ and producer who made a name for himself in the music industry as he performs under the Amapiano genre.
According to Ubetoo, his love for music started at a very young age which led to him not being able to focus on his schoolwork and he decided to drop out when he was in the 10th Grade. The young artist got his major break in the music industry when his ‘’vula vala’’ hit featuring Nokwazi become enormously admired, with the help he got from mentor to shape his musical career he learnt music production in 2017 and become very popular the following year.
He dropped his first album at the age of 17 titled ‘’baby boy’’ then went on to drop another 3 in 2019 titled ‘’ baby boy reloaded, baby boy III and road to baby boy II’’ with more than 10 studio songs released He is currently an independent artist as he is not signed to any record label and wishes to have total control of his sounds and maintain his freedom status.
