UNCLE WAFFLES LEAVES FAN BEGGING FOR MORE AFTER MACNOSE GIG.
DJ Uncle Waffles, whose real name is Lungelihle Zwane, recently travelled outside of South Africa to give amapiano fans around the world a taste of the country’s hottest genre. She has also performed at Macnose Cafe in Soshanguve, Forest Hill City in Pretoria, The Other Venue in Bloemfontein, and Georgis Lounge in Welkom over the past weekend.
After her performance at Macnose Café in Soshanguve, one fan declared his love for the famous DJ. With a beer in hand. Uncle Waffle’s manager posted a video on his twitter page where a young male is seen looking at Uncle Waffles and telling her in isiZulu that he wants to marry her. “Listen, baby, listen,” he starts, “one day is one day, I’m going to marry you. I love you, please say you love me too.”
Uncle Waffles’ voice, obliges and says that she loves him as well, causing him to scream and then throw himself to the floor dramatically. This video made social media busy some of the comments stated that Pretoria, Sosha is most definitely the place to be if DJs can make fans go this crazily in love.
She is an up-and-coming female DJ who is causing a stir on the internet. After posting a video of herself dancing and DJing in front of a raucous crowd, the 21-year-old amapiano dj gained notoriety. She even got Drake to follow her on Twitter.
