TWO SUSPECTS ARRESTED FOR MURDER OF A 14YRS OLD BOY.
Two suspects aged 18 and 23yrs old were arrested by the South African Police Service for murder, yesterday Sunday 12 March 2023 at 18:00. On Friday 10 March 2023 at around 20:00, the police were summoned to a scene of shooting at Floksie Avenue Eersterust. On arrival at the scene they found a 14yrs old boy with a bullet wound on his head.
Preliminary investigation was conducted at the scene and the description of the suspects involved in the murder was established. A man hunt was immediately launched for the alleged murderers and less than 48 hours later, the duo were nabbed for the alleged murder.
The Eersterust SAPS acting station commander, Capt Malose Alpheus Boshiana thanked the investigating team for their sterling job. He futher emphasized the fact that murders of innocent children cannot be tolerated. He asked the investigating team to send a stern warning through securing convictions for this particular murder.
