TWO SHOT VICTIMS MISTAKEN FOR ROBBERS BY MALL.

On Thursday, two victims mistaken for robbers fled into the popular Woodlands Shopping Mall in Pretoria East following a failed assassination temporarily bringing operations to a halt. Police are searching for four armed men following a shooting incident that took place near a Mooikloof petrol station yesterday afternoon. Two men were injured and police believe it was an attempted murder.

“Woodlands Mall mistakenly took the victims for suspect’s from a failed armed robbery that took place outside of the centre and fled into the ABSA Bank within the centre,” it said in a statement.

“The unknown suspects who were in two vehicles shot at the two. A number of shots were fired. The two managed to get into their vehicle and flee to an ABSA outlet at Woodlands shopping centre.” Police spokesperson Sergeant Yeroboam Mbatsane said

Mbatsane said the shooters were still at large. “Nothing was taken and a case of attempted murder is being investigated.”
In a statement on Facebook Woodlands shopping centred said the affected areas within the mall had been cordoned off and police and paramedics were on the scene. #ladi_jaja?
