TOXICATED KEYS AMAPIANO FUTURE STARS FROM MAMELODI.

Toxicated Keyz is a duo doing music based in Mamelodi East, It was formed by  two members, Phadisha Mokwele (17) known by Pene Pene and Thabang Makhafole (19) known as Man Tee. They are both producers and deejays of their own music. They started their music journey in April 2019. The two young members are passionate about producing music and growing in the music industry. Toxicated Keys has worked on 6 projects featuring popular local artists namely Gem Valley musiq, Edgar De Mc, Malindi, Vine Musiq and others. The team writes and produces their own featuring music.

Phadishi said that “Thabang and I are cousins, we decided to work together in everything including music, our passion drove us to start this music duo and I wish to be successful one day that’s what keeps me going. Through my hardships my family has been there, the only way I can repay them is to work hard and make them proud.”

The team has a dream of making people dance and fall in love with their music. They want to work and be recognized by the community as well as popular artists like Kabza Da Small and DJ Melzie. The team wishes to grow their talents by producing music that people will fall in love with and engage with people by making them dance and relate with their emotions through lyrics.

“I would like to work with DJ Melzie one day because the guy really inspire us and we will make sure that dream come true, we may be young but we have big dreams”. We have produced hit songs like Bra Dzick, Abuti Wadi, Raw, Zaka Zaka and more”. Challenges they are currently facing are, one member is currently in Matric, Phadishi Mokwele, so things have slowed down for them. The biggest challenge they are facing is finance struggles. The team is looking for investors or sponsors to fund their projects.
