TIYANI MABUNDA NEW ECG PASTOR.

Former Bafanana Bafana and Mamelodi Sundowns Legend Tiyani Mabunda has been appointed resident Pastors of ECG the Jesus Nation Church – Pretoria Branch Solution Centre. The church shared their thoughts on social media by saying “Welcome to the new resident pastor of The Jesus Nation Church Pretoria CBD minister Tiyani Mabunda. We are proud to call you our Pastor.”

ECG founder, self-proclaimed Prophet Shepherd Bushiri, skipped the country with his wife in 2021 after they were granted bail of R200 000 each by the Pretoria Central Magistrate Court, claiming safety and security concerns.

Bushiri had claimed that they would not get a fair trial in South Africa, where they are accused and charged for their alleged involvement in fraud and money laundering worth R102 Million by the Hawks. An extradition request is underway from the South African government. A high Court in Malawi has ruled in favour of Bushiri to have South African witnesses go to Malawi and physically testify in the ongoing extradition case.
