Mokhadi Ramonyai (33) from Soshanguve Block JJ is well known as Khadi the voice, a motivational speaker and poet. Khadi is a project manager at the Center Good Shepherd Organization. She is also, the founder of Tinyiko Donald Foundation, which aims to help families by offering them emotional and spiritual support. The foundation’s goal is to feed needy people, donate clothes, sanitary towels, and toiletries to young girls.

“Through this organization, many families’ lives have been changed and we have managed to restore hope and support for many women,” said Mokhadi. The Tinyiko Donald Foundation was established earlier 2021, it has since donated school shoes, groceries, and sanitary towels. “The Tinyiko Donald was founded in the memory of my late brother,” she said.

The is no sponsorship behind this initiative they depend on donation from people and sometimes uses their own money to provide to needy people. Furthermore, she said they keep this organization going by collecting clothes that people no longer need but are still in a good condition.  

The Tinyiko Donald foundation’s motive is to prioritize the needs of girls because they don’t want kids to skip school due to not having sanitary pads and to ensure no family goes to bed with an empty stomach. In conclusion “We are not rich but we will fight for others, we ask for toiletries and sanitary towels donations from anyone willing to help.” She said.
