THE SA WEATHER SERVICE EXTENDS HEATWAVE ADVISORY IN GAUTENG UNTIL AT LEAST FRIDAY!!!

Following a scorching hot week things are promising to get better as Pretoria is expected to exit the heat wave that hit Gauteng this week. Earlier in the week weather conditions in Pretoria escalated to as high as 36°C. Residents of Gauteng have been urged to drink plenty of water and avoid excess alcohol under the scorching heat. However the hot conditions are expected to drop ahead of the weekend.

There is also advice for residents to limit outdoor activity, As we move towards the weekend the has been predicted possible chances that it could even rain. Following the hot week it was this would be a welcome and appreciated gesture. Weather predictions for the weekend are as follows.
