Sprakathi rapper Bugzito, a creative artist, actor and writer has been bestowed with many talents. Born Bakang Tshepo Seagiso, the Pitori rapper grew up in Danville in Pretoria west which was predominantly a white dominant neighborhood. His music resonates with what he experienced as a teenager growing up in the time of black oppression. Bugzito exudes most of his music inspiration from the likes of Tupac, Zola, Bob Marley, Molemi and Kwaito music.

All this inspiration and experience during his upbringing would ignite a spark for the type of music he would do. His use of Sprakathi (a blend of Pretoria Tswana and Tsotsi Taal) earned him a title Lebanzi la Pretoria of which he is proud of. Bugzito first independent EP on cd gained him popularity in and around Pretoria. He has been received by music lovers from all walks of life including the national arts festival held annually in Graham’s town. In 2015 Bugzito was amongst those who initiated the door to door tour alongside Sprite Uncontainable Challenge winner in 2014 and he was also nominated for the best performer for the Spaza Awards.

In 2015 Lebanzi la Pitori hosted the first annual event in July which was in his hometown Danville and it was a huge success and it also takes place in west view, Danville Pretoria West. The event continues to take place each year. He has also worked with numerous artist which includes Blacklez, NVeigh, PdotO, Ras, Flex Boogie, B.O.Y Wonder, L-Skillz, Thick and Thin and Boy Peza.

Bugzito obtained a Btech in drama at the Tshwane University of Technology in 2012.He went on to feature in many theatre and film productions. His theatre productions include Athol Fugards as Johnny, Shakespeare’s Macbeth as Porter, Peter Pan as lost boy and Ngugi Wa Thiongo Black Hermit as Omange. Bugzito co-wrote and performed in Conner Madiba and Nelson Mandela which was first held at the South Africa State Theatre in 2013 and at the national arts festival in 2014. He has recently featured in Mzansi Magic’s The Road and in 2017 he featured in season two of the Bantu Hour of which he was also part of the writing team.

Bugzinto also starred in ETV’s Broken Vows and SABC 1’s Generations the Legacy. He does not only do theatre and drama he also starred in two feature films Matwetwe and The Bomb Shelters Back of the Moon.

Currently the multi talented star is not tied to any major company and owns ONALERONA COLLABORATION which is named after his own daughter and it serves as a label and music publisher for himself and Zimkitha Soul. Therefore it also functions as a production company for theatre production and events. “Currently I am working on my music and would be announcing my next move very soon,” said Bugzito.

Bugzito is a creative genius who comprises his background and what is happening around him and get his inspiration from his surroundings and life. The talented star will be performing live at Cap City Hip-hop Revival on the 23rd of June 2018 alongside Dj Big Rome, B.O.Y Wonder, Lolli and many more.
