Thapelo Pronto Motaung is a 27-year-old multi-talented individual based in Attridgeville.
The young man describes himself as an all-rounder. He co-owns a fast food restaurant named The Zozo Café which he started with his 3 brothers Mpho, Kgotatso and Tumelo Motaung in 2016.The café sells the original kasi meal which is Sphatlho aka Kota, they also make platters.
The lad also does music, focusing on different genres such as Jazz, Afro Soul, Gospel and House music. While producing music, he realised that dancing is also something he enjoys and is really good at. Thapelo dances sbujwa, pantsula, kwasa, hip hop and cultural dance. “I am passionate about being true to myself, learning something new every day and simplifying my life”, he said. Through his applied discipline Thapelo realised that he can merge all his talents and hobbies in one.
In 2017, a new idea came up and he started a décor and carpentry business with the intention of coming up with new and advanced setup at events. The community he’s from know about what he does and show great support. Thapelo and his team make tables and chairs out of wood and hire them at events, decorate it according to the theme of that particular event. Thapelo also does fashion, his focus is on modern fashion and he aims to inspire the youth with his sense of fashion, from classic to casual and semi-casual. #ladi_jaja?
