TANZANIA’S FRESHERS BALI INVASION FEATURING A-REECE POSTPHONED.

Pretoria’s very own rapper A-Reece was supposed to be performing live on the 25th of February 2022 ‘Tanzania Freshers Bali invasion’ at IDLE WINDS hosted by Thulani Way but the event is sadly postponed due to the tragic news of the Passing of Riky Rick.

Born and raised in Atteridgeville, Pretoria on the 27th of March 1997 Lehlogonolo Ronald Mataboge is not only a rapper, but he is also a songwriter and record producer also a young brother of Phologo Jody Mataboge known as P-Jay who is part of the hip hop duo B3nchMarQ.

He started writing music at an early age in his primary school, inspired and following his brother’s footsteps which led him to getting his stage name ‘’A-Reece’’ from his star sign Aries.

He released a mixtape titled ‘’Forever King’’ in 2013 and an EP ‘’Browniez’’ in 2014, he then got signed to Ambitouz Entertainment in 2015 and released his first single ‘’couldn’t’’ featuring Emtee which made him gain more popularity and recognition. The young artist then decided to be independent and leave Ambitiouz Entertainment after some few financial quarrels and management, during that year he released his debut studio album ‘’Paradise’’ in 2016 with singles like ‘Mgan’ which spotted the number 1 spot on ITUNES, also released his second album ‘From me to you & only you’ the following year 2017 to celebrate the anniversary of his debut album.

He is a member of ‘The Wrecking Crew (TWC) formed by Mashbeatz. The groups consist of Mashbeatz, Ex Global, Wordz now called Rubberbands.

A-Reece released a collaboration album in 2019 with Mashbeatz ‘’Reece Effect’ which had his fans going crazy and surprised, in the same year he released massive hits ‘’Carel$$’’ and ‘’Blood in Blood’’

He then came back with another epic album in 2021 titled ‘’Today’s Tragedy, Tomorrow’s Memory’’ with 13 tracks. Lehlogonolo got nominated and won awards like lyricist of the year, best video, song of the year, best collab, mixtape of the year, one of his biggest nominations was ‘artist of the decade’ award.

‘The boy doing things’’ can not wait to perform some of his songs from his latest album. The new date for the event will be announced.
