SESI GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY.

Sesi Mamabolo was born in Brits, 15 December 1990.  Sesi is a law and somatology graduate who runs a beauty Clinic called SesiP Makeup and Spa Pty Ltd in the north of Pretoria. She has been nominated as a Mrs Township SA Semi Finalist 2022. As part of the initiative she is currently running a sanitary pad drive with the  aim of assisting young  girls in the community. Her passion lies in doing community work, working with victimized/unprivilaged young kids and women who became widows at a young age.

Part of these activities includes collecting and distributing sanitary pads at a high school in their respective townships to tackle the widespread lack of sanitary towels faced by many teenage girls in marginalized communities across South Africa. Many girls don’t go to school during these times, due to this. Miss and Mrs Township South Africa, and Teen is not height nor weight restrictive. Their aim is to teach women that beauty is more than skin deep; it shines from within. They embrace women who have a clear vision, are bold and audacious about their position in society. Women who want to learn to build on solid ground and raise the bar for the generation which follows them. In essence, they cultivate role models that society so badly requires. 

The Pageant is open for three categories, with the teen taking in teenage girls from age 13 to 19, the Miss category is open to women from 19 years of age to 31 years, and the Mrs category is open to married, widowed, divorced women or single mothers from ages 25 to 45.9.The program is a 4-month bootcamp, wherein the semi-finalists are engaged in a variety of workshops and activities, all aimed at equipping them with skills that will establish or refine them as entrepreneurs and responsible members of society.

“Learn from yesterday and live for today”, that has been Sesi’s mantra from a young age and that is what the 32 years old who currently resides in Pretoria is proving that never forget to chase your dreams whilst having fun. Even though married with two adorable young boys,  With so much on her hands as a traditional wife, mother of two boys , working and a Business woman she did not use this as an excuse to not participate in the pageant but she took it head on. This alone is what makes a top woman.The Semi-Finalists of pageant should be announced by end May, which will lead to the Finalist being announced in September in Pretoria.
