OPERATION DUDULA PROTEST IN PRETORIA.

On Monday, part of Madiba Street was closed off as Operation Dudula protested outside the Pretoria high court. They want to join a court application by the Helen Suzman Foundation that seeks a review of the lawfulness of the decision by home affairs minister Aaron Motsoaledi to terminate the ZEP. Dudula members are opposing the Zimbabwe exemption permit (ZEP) extension. Motsoaledi is opposing the application by the foundation.

Motsoaledi has granted ZEP and grant a limited extension of 12 months, meanwhile Operation Dudula sang and marched outside the high court. Operation Dudula has applied to the court to join as a respondent in the application.

The matter has been postponed to April.
