Naledi (34) said that her third released project is an inspirational song dedicated to all artists and those whom their career is on hold during this pandemic we are facing in the world. The singer says she believes that in order to be heard and achieve what she hopes for in the music industry she has to work hard.
“One has to have a tangible product for the recording companies to know what they can expect from her instead of just sending demos and hoping for a musical contract,” she said. She is also involved with a non-profit organisation, which was registered in June 2018 known as Tumelo ya Batho Foundation.
“I am involved in various community development programmes, a single mother to a beautiful daughter Motheo (born in 2011),” “My music is inspired by ladies like Zonke and Lira whom are people who put efforts not only in music but performances as well,” she stated. Unlike many artists, who tend to have a stage name, Naledi decide to go with an original name. The name Naledi translate The Star, and clearly she is living up to her name.
