MUSIC IS MORE THAN A DREAM FOR EXTREME WA ZB.

It all started from being a Dj in family gatherings for William Mokano otherwise known as eXtreme wa zB a 33 year old from Zebediela Makweng. He firtst fell in love with house music listening to (Iggy Smallz) in secondary school before he started pursuing music professionally in 2009. He produces deep house music. His career started growing in Atteridgeville where he met Kevin Tshabalala and started performing at his events.


“The love and peace I get from music is what motivated me to start producing my own music.” He says. William’s biggest challenge is to get a breakthrough into the mainstream and his music to start getting airplay. He doesn’t have an album yet but he has released several Eps since 2014 and he will release a single that includes remixes which will be out in approximately a month.


“Everything has it’s own moment, the most important thing is to understand the space you’re in and work hard.” He says. He spends most of his time outside music with his family. “Family is very important to me which is why most of the time when I am not booked I spend time with them.” He says.


Most artists are affected by Covid -19 and William is not an exception. “I try by all means to make sure my followers get a taste of what I normally play by doing live videos on Facebook.” He said. He also plans to do more music and market himself extensively after lockdown is lifted. #ladi_jaja?
