The renowned gospel muso Mpho Thosago is set to record his much anticipated album on the 25th March 2023 at the Pretoria State Theatre. The event is said to be a masterpiece and his philanthropic effort to change the plight of the children of the deceased soldiers for the better.

Thosago ‘s 4th Album titled God is love has 10 tracks featuring, amongst others, artists like, Sipho Makhabane and Nkabinde Brothers. The event is scheduled to start at 11:00 in the morning and will include performances by Solly Moholo, Tebogo Motaung, Antonette Swanepoel, Orlando Pirates Choir, just to name but a few.

The live recording event is a partnership between Mpho Thosago’s company, Thosa Production, and the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) to generate revenue for the SANDF Education Trust where 50% of the ticket sales will be given to children of the soldiers who passed on in their line of duty as well as those serving today.

Mpho Thosago said that the Live Recording Album is long overdue.

“I will forever be indebted to God for all my blessings and musical journey, in particular. His timing is always perfect. I would have never asked for any other opportunity to do a Live Recording of my music album in which I have partnered with the SANDF and the proceeds of which will be given to the needy children of the soldier parents. My humble appeal to all South Africans is that let us support our SANDF for the impeccable work and selfless contribution they are making for this country. With this album I would also want to thank my fans for their loyal and unwavering support throughout my musical journey. Let us fill up the Pretoria State Theatre to enjoy the new album but above all to support the noble cause of the event.” Concluded the elated Thosago.
