Zodwa Rebecca Mohlamonyane (32) popularly known as Missy RBK is an artist of various genres in music under REE ROCKS MUSIC PRODUCTION. This artist was born and bred in the capital city of Gauteng, Pretoria. She studied fine arts at the Tshwane University of Technology and graduated with a National Diploma in 2012. Zodwa has always been interested in music. She participated in choirs everywhere she went as a child.This was during primary school, at church and also in her high school days.

Her writing passion started off with her writing poems and story books, she later started writing music and recording it as a profession. As a woman with many talents, Zodwa is also a dancer. She got the opportunity to dance professionally for the Cullinan Field Band for a period of four years. In their very first competition as a junior band, they won 1st place, this marked and helped maintain the Cullinan Field Band in the industry. This was also when the performance side of Missy RBK was groomed and brought to light.

She officially entered the music industry in 2009 through collaborations and then later recorded her first album titled Versus-Round 1 in 2010. Years passed and more great work was produced by the musician. Missy then became a force to be reckoned with as she started getting heavy media exposure and featured in some of the country’s big newspapers like Daily-Sun and New Age. In those articles, she was recognised as one of the best female rappers in the game.

While rising in the music industry and being a business minded entrepreneur, Zodwa opened her own cosmetic store named Be Beautiful Lifestyle (BBL). The store is doing well via mall activations, and also has pop-up stores for various events. One of them being (Back to the City Festival 2016) which hosts over 25 000 people yearly. The Missy RBK brand is being expanded and aims to reach larger markets ranging from the music business to the beauty industry. #ladi_jaja?
