Family and friends are searching for a 30-year-old woman and a 1-year 5-months boy who went missing on Tuesday the 20th April 2021 after allegedly leaving to meet up with a friend and following dropping off cv’s at the local mall. Mahlatse Matete Nkoane and Nkateko Buhle were last seen at Mamelodi West D6 on Tuesday around 11h00 AM.
On the day of her disappearance, she was last seen wearing a Red top, black Jean and Blue sneakers. Nkoane was carrying a small bag with Nkateko’s clothes and baby diapers inside. Her Partner Hendrick Makhobela said that they have not yet reported her with the police as he still had hope that she is going to come home safe with their son but still hasn’t been luck of them coming back home.
Mahlatse’s last words to her partner before leaving were as follows: “Nana keya Denlynn to meet with Inah ola a nnang Stofel Pack then ko feta ko KFC ka Checker le box ela yao lahlelsa di CV.” Which translate Baby I am I am going to Denlynn to meet up with Inah from Stofel Pack then I will passby KFC and check the cv’s drop off box.
“I called Inah, the friend, and the response I got is that she never got a call nor talk to Mahlatse,” Makhobela said. “It is an uneasy feeling to see days passing without seeing your partner and child returning home. At this point I am so stressed to the point whereby I can’t even sleep, eat nor even go to work,” he said. He asked anyone who might have seen his family to speak out to help bring her partner and child safely back home.
