MAMELODI FINEST HIP HOP DJ.

Manqoba Emmanuel Nkosi is a 24-year-old from Mamelodi, Pretoria. He is a dancer transformed to a very good HipHop DJ. His stage name is Deej Ya Mang, and he has been in the music industry since 2011. Even though a lot of people know him because of his talent and passion for dancing, Manqoba also worked hard on mastering his craft in music.

Being a Deejay for Ekzotic Music, the maker of OGA and Bare Kwena Mang, Manqoba’s music journey has been an adventure. He has an EP on the way, which he worked on with Ekzotic music. Being known as a HipHop DJ, he plans to try out other genres. Manqoba states that his next move is experimenting with reggae and a splash of Nigerian music, in simple terms, he wants to give off some African flavour to his fans.

Being part of the entertainment industry is something Manqoba describes as his dream, he fell in love with it, he is good at what he does (dancing and being a Deejay), and he has made a choice to pursue the dreams . His inspiration in the entertainment industry is very broad. “I got motivated by Black Coffee, Black Motion, and as time went by, Casper Nyovest and the likes of Ricky Rick.” He said

His career is going well, his fanbase expands everyday. Having been in the industry from 2011, he has gained real supporters who have been on this journey with him since day one. “I have been the most booked Hip Hop Deejay around Pretoria, every weekend I have gigs.” He explains. This has been happening for the past four years. Manqoba feels that he needs to push more, not that he is not happy with where he is right now in his career, he wants to expand and explore more. “Yes, I am popular in Pretoria, but I feel the need to push myself further, I want to be known in other provinces and internationally.” He added. #ladi_jaja?
