35 year old Tebogo Samuel Boshomane and Thapelo Mahlangu (26) better known as Tsebe Boy and Tebza Ngwana respectively grew up in Mamelodi Pretoria. The duo has released multiple singles including their first compilation called Sgubhu sa Pitori volume 1 in January 2020. Their collaboration started on December 2018 when they met in studio and instantly became friends before they started to work together.
Tebogo is also a construction facilitator and Thapelo runs a family business (pub).”I do music for the love of it and kasi (township) life motivates me to do this type of music,” says Tebogo. Pencil and Zing Master influenced their style of music. One of their challenges is to get their music the exposure that will assist in getting them bookings. Working as a team is good however you have to appreciate your team members.
“My advice is giving it your best ensures best results.” Says Tebogo. The duo hopes to get more radio air time and performances. They also want to be signed by a major record label. They plan to drop their second Bacardi music project next month the 18th before their Amapiano album.
