MADUMANE ACKNOWLEDGES WIZKID AS HIS INSPIRATION FOR DOING AMAPIANO.

DJ Maphorisa, has took to social media revealing that the well-known Nigerian singer, Wizkid is the one who inspired him to invest and take Amapiano seriously, before the genre became popular. He posted of Facebook saying “Wizkid put me on Amapiano facts. The first Amapiano song Wiz heard was by Calvin Fallo Wololo remix in Moloko PTA 5 years ago that’s when sponono by Kabza was recorded and I didn’t know Kabza that time.

He asked me what was this song giving him goosebumps? That’s when I really took Amapiano serious. Listening ke good skill. Call me Madumane Lawd Ya di Piano” he said. DJ Maphorisa is one the most famous Amapiano DJ’s, Musician, and record producer. The star has earned his success through his hard work. The star took it to social media spilling that he has been in the music industry for a long time and that contributed to him being the Amapiano Lord “I started recording vocalists/rappers at the age of 16, you can’t expect me not to know this shit” he said.
