LEGENDS BARBERSHOP LAUNCHES NEW BRANCH AT MENLYN MALL.

The owner and founder of Legends Barbershop Sheldon Tatchell launched his first flagship store in Pretoria Menlyn mall. The store has over 65 stores in Southern Africa with their footprint spanning in Namibia, Lesotho, Botswana and Zambia and they are excited to expand further into Africa. As the leading barbershop in South Africa rated by the African hair Awards Council, it provides professional grooming as the barbers are trained to give an extraordinary service, quality haircuts and superb advice with their products on how to maintain hair.

‘’Menlyn is seen as fit because it is one of the main regional malls as well as the largest in South Africa, the space is big enough to offer the type of service we are going to provide’’ Sheldon Tatchell said

He shared his story and reminisced to the days where he got the opportunity to work with the late Ricky Rick, ‘’ I just like to share a story of a very close friend of mine, by the name of Ricky Rick, he was really one of the inkers in pioneering and marketing our business. I thank him as I stand here, just by remembering him in everything he has done for the brand, I really do not think of him as a friend but as a brother that has been by my side since 2015 and has helped me through everything that has happened in the business’’ he said on his speech

With the appearance of the likes of Lasizwe, Robot Boii, Abidoza, Moozile, Blackie and many more to show their support. They were very proud of Sheldon and his team of their massive achievement. Robot Boii expressed that it felt amazing to be part of the launch, as he has known Sheldon for a while, so it more of the relationship he has with him ‘’ one thing about relationships is that it has no rules so whatever they do or push, it is easy for you to be part of it and join the movement, be part of the family’’ he said

Tatchell, also expressed that this launch was one of the most iconic moments for him being able to relaunch their first flagship store in one of the regional malls like Menlyn, ‘’ we are excited because there is a whole change in what we are doing, a whole new experience as there is VIP area, massages, manicure etc. I think we fortunate to be celebrating something like this right now’’ he commented

He also gave advise to the youth who someday wish to see themselves owning their own legends barbershop that they should follow their dreams, be committed, and do not ever give up ‘’ once you start thinking of giving up that it is when you start failing’’ Sheldon’s words of advice.
