JUSTICE SERVED FOR RAPE VICTIMS

Seven life sentences for Pretoria West serial rapist. Takalani Mulaudzi from Pretoria West has been sentenced to 173 years in jail. The 30 year old was sentenced to imprisonment for rape, robbery with aggravating circumstances, kidnapping as well as grievous bodily harm.

He was convicted of fifteen counts of rape, five counts of robbery with aggravating circumstances, three counts kidnapping and one count of grievous bodily harm.

He was arrested on the 10th of July 2019 at his place work in Johannesburg. This came after he was traced through one of the cellphones he stole and linked to the rape incidents through his DNA.

One victim testified while in court that Mulaudzi raped her at time when she was studying law. While another testified that he pointed a knife at her as she was walking across Wespark at approximately 20:30 in the evening.

Although the victims of the 30 year old convicted rapist are relieved that he has been slammed with seven life terms and him remaining in prison for life will help aid their healing process. They are still struggling with the trauma brought on by what they were subjected to by who some would refer to as an evil man.
