INFANT FOUND DUMPED IN GARANKUWA.

A newlyborn infant was found in the bushes at Masakeng, Zone 2, Ga-Rankuwa abandoned by his parents. Tebogo Katsedi explained “A newborn baby was found by a community member, going to throw away wastage and he saw the body of the child in the dirt. He then called community leader Godfrey Gouwe, who then took him to the police station to report this incident,” she said.

Katsedi added by saying “The body of an infant which was found on the dirt, showed little burns and that the baby was abandoned there for weeks because even the skin color had changed. A community member Reatlegile Ndlovu said ” the thought of losing my baby is unimaginable, it is unfortunate  we live in a world where this has become a norm for heartless people.

Furthermore she said “There are plenty of alternative options than to throw away your baby for example give her /him up for adoption,”  Samuel Mthethwa another community leader said, “It angered him seeing  a community member engaging in this diabolical incident”.
