INDEPENDENT MEDIA ALLEGES TEMBISA DECUPLETS WERE TRAFFICKED.

The story which was first reported by Piet Rampedi in the Pretoria News in June 2021 regarding Gosiame Sithole, Tembisa 10, has taken a new direction. Independent Media held a press conference on Wednesday, 27 October 2021 to give their findings of what transpired with the decuplets. The report alleges that indeed Sithole was pregnant and delivered by C-section. The mother was allegedly pregnant with the 10 babies unfortunately two died during birth at Tembisa Hospital.

Therefore eight (8) were sent to Steve Biko hospital, (Lenmed Zamokuhle Private Hospital) and subsequently to Tembisa Hospital and George Mukhari without the mother being informed. She was later told by the Doctors to give up her babies for adoption and she was taken to a mental hospital to appear as though she’s unstable.

This story was regarded as fake news but despite those allegations Piet Rampedi stood by his story and according to IoL, a Nigerian doctor kidnapped the Tembisa 10 babies and independent media alleges that the Tembisa decuplets  were trafficked.

At the time government officials declared the story fake news. Gauteng Provincial Government yesterday released a press release dismissing allegations by Independent Media and said it would be launching a law suit against Independent Media for the allegations.
