FOCALISTIC RELEASE 16 DAYS NO SLEEP MUSIC VIDEO.
President Ya Straata has his fans anxiously waiting for the new ’16 Days No Sleep’ music video to offically drop today (Friday). Lethabo Sebetso known as Focalistic, Pitori Maradona all over the world, born and raised in Pretoria Ga-Rankuwa on the 26th of May 1996 was a soccer player in his community before he got into the music career as a rapper and singer, his passion of music developed in his early age and he always wished to pursue it further and have collaborations with many artists.
He refers to himself as Pitori Maradona as he got the name ‘’Maradona’’ during the time he was playing soccer and he is from Pretoria which became a combination to him and to easily let people where he is from and what did he do or what he is. The young rapper is a Political Science Graduate at University of Pretoria, he obtained his degree in 2017 to make his mother happy.
He exposed himself to the music and media industry in 2017 when he dropped ‘fakimali’ hit which debuted number 1 on YFM Hip Hop music charts even though he has been making music way longer, as his style in music is unique and catchy as he says ‘’Ase Trap Ke Pina Tsa Ko Kasi’ as an opening tune for most of his songs. He then got introduced to the likes of Cassper Nyovest, Major League DJ’s and many more artists which led him to establishing his own record label 18 Area Holdings in partnership with the Vth Seasons on the 10th of April 2020, the same year and month he released ‘’Ke Star’’ featuring Virgo Deep which later got certified with sales of 25 000 copies.
Focalistic is versatile as he features on pop, hip hop, dance and amapiano, to date he has released a couple of singles and an EP titled ‘Quarantined Tarantino’ which was released on the 20th of April 2020 in his most famous masterpiece. He is about to release an awesome track on the 11th of February featuring Madumane, DJ Maphorisa, Mellow and Sleazy with Kabza De Small tilted ‘’16 Day No Sleep’’.Since 2017, Focalistic’s popularity has been curdling and has already broken into the international world as he was nominated for BEST AFRICAN ACT at MTV Europe Music Awards in 2021.
