FOCALISTIC PUTTING SA ON THE GLOBAL MAP.
South Africa is still proud of our very President Ya Straata, Focalistic for being one the nominees at the Nickelodeon kids’ Choice Awards that were on the 13th of April 2022 on DSTV Channel 305 even though he did not bag any award. He was nominated for the Favourite African Star award together with Uncle Vinny and Limpopo Queen Makhadzi who is the one who won the award for the nominations.
Major League DJz, Tems, Pitso Mosimane were also part of the nominees nominated in different categories who are from Africa. Focalistic has been rising the African flag high on a global scale and the whole of South Africa is behind him as he also managed to bag a few international nominations and awards and has managed to grab the attention of generation z.
The performer is known for his unique Amapiano specialty, and we could not be less proud of him and others as they are making their mark in the entertainment industry. He has ridden the wave with his global hit ‘’Champion sound’ which he co-wrote with Davido. With his tour across the world, spreading the amapiano genre to the world, he also has been nominated for best African act at the MTV Europe Music Awards last year 2021 alongside Nigerian superstars Wizkid and Tems.
