Pretoria born and bred Elon Musk is now Twitter’s sole director and amongst his first actions was to reinstate Kanye West account which had been suspended. Musk’s purchase of Twitter went through on Thursday evening. When first outlining his plans for his ownership of Twitter, Musk said he would need to take the company private to make his desired changes.

Amongst reinstating his friend Kanye West known as Ye account he also disposed the social-media company’s nine-person board of directors. “On October 27, 2022, and as a result of the consummation of the Merger, Mr Musk became the sole director of Twitter,” the company wrote in an SEC filing published Monday.
