South African R&B singer and songwriter Ndivhuwo Mukheli known as Elaine born and raised in Pretoria on the 2nd of April 1999 released her highly anticipated single ‘’Shine’’ and her fans reacted with so much positivity and excitement. She started singing at the age of 6 and participated in school choirs and talent competitions, 2014 she received a gold medal at the 8th World Choir Games in Riga, Lavita and shortly started writing her own music while in high school.

She also studied law at University of Witwatersrand in 2018 and become part of the university’s ‘Golden Key Honour Society the following year. She was the first South African artist to be part of the Spotify’s Radar artist program and shortly released her debut EP ‘Elements’ on the 29th of September 2019 produced by Clxrity, Elizee and Malachi, the EP was successful on streaming charts which led her to clock one million streams within 2 weeks of its initial release and got deemed as ‘Apple Music’s New Artist Spotlight’ after it reached number 1 album in South Africa.

Her EP ‘Elements’ got certified Platinum by the Recording industry of South Africa (RISA) IN July 2020. She got signed to Columbia Records in August same year. She got nominations for ‘Best R&B/Soul Album’ at the 26th SA Music Awards and ‘Best Female Southern Africa’ at the 2020 African Muzik Magazine Awards in November 2020

She has released countless singles including ‘’Right Now’’ on the 12th of May 2021 and her new single ‘Shine’.
