DONDOL STARS SAY WINNING THE ABC MOTSEPE LEAGUE IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN BEING IN THE NEDBANK CUP SEMIFINALS.

The surprise team in this year‘s Nedbank Cup who defeated Supersport United and Amazulu, were etablished in 2014, FC Dondol Stars FC want to keep neighbourhood young boys off the streets by engaging them in physical activities.
Located in Mamelodi, the team plays the majority of its games at the TUT Pretoria West Campus, with Mehlareng Stadium in Tembisa serving as back up location because several of the teams supporters are stationed there.
Dondol Stars FC has a match on Saturday 18 March 2023 at Muckleneck grounds in Mamelodi against FC Ma-Lions at 15H00. The Mamelodi outfit are the leading team in ABC Motsepe League. They are left with 8 games to go.
“Wining the Gauteng ABC Motsepe League is more important for the club than making it to the semi-finals of Nedbank cup, its 8 games to go to seal the league by,” says their Facebook fans.
Chaba Refete, which translates to “move over, we are pasing,” is their slogan. “This indicates that we are now in the ABC Motsepe League’s passing stage and our own objective is to get promotion. The Dondol Stars chairman Warra Ben stated, “I am aware that all the other teams want to win, but with the team we have put together we will do well.” He concluded.
