DJ MAPHORISA CALLS FOR AN END TO UNNECESSARY TRIBUTE SHOWS.
Taking to social media, on the 14th of August 2021, the well-known Amapiano star DJ Maphorisa has shared a post expressing how disappointed he is about people that failed to honour and respect the tribute of the late and loved Amapiano stars Killer Kau and Mpura who were involved in a tragic accident that took their lives.
DJ Maphorisa posted saying that “But this thing of tribute show everywhere doesn’t look right and it’s not making sense, let’s not be desperate and be greedy, respect the boys please” and he added a heart broken emoji. Dr Malinga commented under his post saying “ it’s how they grief, let them be they mean well”
According to DJ Maphorisa, Death is a painful thing that can happen to anyone and anywhere which makes it a very essential thing to honour and respect. The passing away of the two stars has left South Africans and most celebrities touched and had them sharing touching captions on social media.
Lamiez Holworthy has highlighted how grateful we should be for making it home everyday “Because accidents are exactly that accidents. It could happen to anyone of us at any give time unexpected and unintentional” she said.
Focalistic also known as Lethabo Sebetso sent his tributes on Facebook saying “All the videos on Instagram! All the music we made! All the late night conversations. You will never be forgotten! Love You always my brothers! Rest in power! Most sincere condolences to the family and friends. Please do me a favour, call your brothers and tell them I love you, Life is too short.”
