CHILD WELFARE TSHWANE OVER 100 YEARS OF COMMUNITY SERVICE.

Child Welfare Tshwane has been registered, since 1918 as a non-profit child protection organization in Tshwane, caring for, protecting, and empowering vulnerable children. They are based in Groenkloof (24hours), Pretoria, with service stations conveniently located around the city, and they provide social work services to all children aged 0 to 18 in the city.

They uphold and maintain professional service delivery standards as an active affiliate of Child Welfare South Africa in their efforts to build family bonds and ensure that each child has the opportunity to attain his or her full potential.

They cordially invite you to attend any of their upcoming fundraising events. They work hard to seek long-term funding from a variety of sources, including government agencies, foundations and trusts, events, industry leaders, and private donations. ‘’To ensure continuous service supply to our communities in need, more than half of our annual funding comes from non-government sources. An 18A Certificate will be issued in recognition of your participation’’ states the Child welfare.

According to Linda Nell, one of the Directors. ‘’It is not always easy – parents get despondent. The social workers run out of motivational messages to ensure that children stay in school.  But, even if we change one child’s life, give one child a dream, then we will have succeeded.’’To ensure that they give uninterrupted services to the Tshwane families in need, Child Welfare Tshwane relies on the support of private individuals and business leaders.
