BRITS PICK N PAY ROBBED BY AN ARMED GANG.

A group of gunmen recently attacked Pick n Pay in Brits and locked the staff together with customers inside the store. The supermarket is not far from Brits Police station but the robbers were able to hold the staff and customers captive while robbing the store.
The Police spokesperson, Constable Ben Moabi, mentioned that five men who were armed stormed inside Pick n Pay and held the manager and the staff at gunpoint while instructing customers to remain at the back of the store inside the storage area.
“One of the cashiers was ordered to open the till and they took a very large amount of money, then the robbers immediately fled the scene”, he said. Moabi further added that no one was injured in the incident and no arrests have been made yet but the investigation is ongoing.
