This week, days ago the Attridgeville police reported sighting of a lioness that is on the loose in Pretoria. Members from Laudium Disaster Management, Ultimate Drones, National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI), SRU and SDS Security were busy throughout in search of the lioness that was roaming loose on the R511 near Hennops. According to reports, the lioness escaped its enclosure on the 23rd of February.
Arthur Crewe from Strategic Response Unit suspects the animal is in the vicinity between Gauteng and the North West where it was last spotted, the lion was spotted early on Wednesday morning. “The lion was spotted around 02:00 by a security response officer on the R511 close to the Hennops Hiking Trail. We had a second sighting, so it is confirmed a lion.”
