Miss Glam South Africa semi finalist 2020, Jabulile Mpinga who is born and bred in Pretoria, Soshanguve is one of the finalists. Not only is she a model but she is an advocate for an NPO named little girl arise, it focuses on keeping a girl child at school by proving them with Sanitary PADS, and alliviate poverty.

The founder of the NPO is Koketso Makua. Jabulile started modelling in 2016 when she signed under daxirite casting agency, she did not start as a model though she started of as a video vixen then proceeded to become a pageant model. ‘’I have always seen myself as miss universe or miss world one day but due to low self-esteem and confidence I doubted my capability to become one’’ said Jabulile.

The excitement that comes with being one of the finalists overwhelms Jabulile as she states she cannot shake off the feeling, ‘’ I can’t shake off the feeling honestly, I still get goosebumps whenever I read that message from the miss glam South Africa team’’ said Jabulile. Reality still stands it is only a tittle what matters most is the impact she will make in the community with the tittle as the semi-finalist.

An advice Jabulile would give to young aspiring models is that the world is cruel inhuman place for the weakened, walk and stand tall knowing you are enough for you. Forget the labels and tags, women’s abilities are suppressed and limited in a box with so many tags of do’s and don’t so be you and do you. That is according to the Miss glam finalist South Africa 2022, Jabulile.

‘’the world is your oyster, and you are the pearl meaning the world is yours to enjoy if you work hard. In a world full of so many stereotypes, like Zozibini Tunzi said take up space and cement yourself’’ concluded Jabulile.
