South African Rapper Lehlogonolo Ronald Mataboge (24) known as A-Reece is a hip hop superstar, songwriter, born in Pretoria. He was recently featured on a new track released by 25K his hometown boy on a single  titled “Hustlers Prayer”  which is now available on Apple music. A-Reece verse on this song is regarded as a significate message used to share the experience of losing his father during the current world pandemic. 

A-Reece rose to fame in 2015 following the release of his single, ‘Couldn’t’ which featured rapper Emtee. In the year 2016 he released his debut studio album, Paradise which  received a nomination for Best Rap Album at the South African Music Awards.

He won “Lyricist of the Year” at age 19 followed by many music videos, collaborative albums. He released several Eps amongst others Gwan Big Up Urself, Cutaways Ep and I’m only 21, etc. After two years of lying low, in the year 2021 he bounced back with his infections singles ‘Morning peace’ and ‘Five years plan’, and with much anticipation, he released a mixtape ( Today’s Tragedy, Tomorrow’s Memory ), to get fans ready for the sequel to his debut album, “ Paradise 2: The Big heard Bad Guy.

5 days ago on the featured on single titled Hustler’s Prayer by 25K his fans showed support and Milton Kedah one of his fans praised him by saying that “the verse was so real and personal and that’s what we want as fans”.

Thabs Da Direct Stifle “Besides how we as fans critique how A-Reece went hard in the beat, I think we could now realize how money isn’t everything according to how Reece thought giving his pops money could fix everything.

Roody Qew on Twitter said “I’d like to thank you for that verse bro some of us relate to the same shit you‘ve been through the verse and quoted it “got a call that my pops on the hospital bed drowning’ in all of those tears that I shed told him I‘ll pay for whatever, He told me “forget it, just pay me a visit instead”.

“This fuckin’ pandemic isn’t lettin up, He died and I ain’t get to look at his face tell him I love him before the Lord took him away, nothin’ was ever the same,” he said.

On Twitter NXCKLV said May his soul rest in peace, A-Reece we now are part of your Fam and forever will embrace your love, music, blood, sweat & tears on your music what a collab. A-Reece in his latest interview said, “never compromise the way you create always remain yourself”.
