A-REECE FEATURED ON AMAPIANO TRACK.

Amaroto duo consisting of Zuma and Reece Madlisa had Amapiano lovers dancing to their hits for most of the second half of the year 2020. Reece Madlisa explained on YouTube during an interview at Podcast and chill with Mac G stating that his stage name was inspired by the rapper A-Reece, and he has been a fan since day one. Madlisa said, “I won’t lie, A-Reece inspired me, I think I also felt that bro… ‘A-Reece’.” The duo also revealed that they are working on something with the rapper. “Obvious, that is going to happen, we have already talked about that. Amaroto and A-Reece, and it is going to be a Piano track,” they added.

Amaroto dominance included being on songs like Jazzidisciples (Zlepe) to Sithi, Umsebenzi Wethu, VSOP, Ulazi and more, they have undoubtedly solidified their footprint within the Amapiano scene. Lehlogonolo Ronald Mataboge known professionally as A-Reece, is a South African rapper and songwriter, born and bred in Pretoria. He has been in the Hip Hop space ever since he broke into fame, and having him do an Amapiano track will be history rewritten and something groundbreaking.

The duo is currently working on Amaroto Volume 2 which will also be released under their own record label called Amaroto NT. That is probably where they will feature the rapper. The duo’s captivating lyrics are reminiscent of Kwaito, they have won the hearts of fellow South Africans. They have worked with the likes of Major League, DJz, Mpura, Mr. JazziQ, Busta 929, 9umba and even more. Their Amaroto volume 2 EP is currently loading and, if the first one was anything to go by, fans are in for a treat.

This left some fans in disbelieve and devastation when imagining A-Reece involved in a different genre of music rather that Hip Hop. Some of his followers took to to social media with various comments @Sihle Mpumelelo wrote, “If he does Amapiano  I doubt I am going to listen to his music ever again,” while @AL Setumu wrote “Lies A-Reece is married to Hip Hop rap, true Hip Hop artist that one.”
