WHEN WE FINALLY BID MOTHER EARTH FAREWELL.

Each one of us lives on borrowed time. It’s actually a great deal to wake up in the morning and say good morning to your peers family and friends because being able to wake up alone in the morning is a blessing. People are not immortal, that’s why our time here should be spent wisely. We can never say no to death or ask for a postponement, once we have reached our deadline, we can’t deny ourselves that chance of meeting the creator.

The way you live on this earth is the way you will be greatly or sorely missed and remembered so it’s up to you on how you want to be remembered.

Some of us have spent years and years working hard but when coming to reaping our rewards we fail.  Perhaps  it’s because we spend too much of our time worrying about what others have, what others do or even what others could get by tomorrow, now I am not a time keeper but isn’t that a waste of time?

I always look at people worrying too much about other people and I ask myself, when are you going to start worrying about yourself?

I am not a psychologist but I think worrying about yourself and your personal goals it’s more of a healthy attitude, that I can advise rather than anything else.

See I often sit back some time when am alone and wonder, if I have to bid this world farewell by tomorrow what would this world say about me?  Will my absence be felt or will it be” goodbye we are glad you left us”?

Some of the questions that I have is, am I purely and entirely satisfied about the kind of life I live, am I doing everything in my power to live the kind of life that I have always hoped for and again if I had to bid this world farewell, would I have any regrets about the life I led?

I am really sorry that I had to go round in circles about those questions, but I always have questions and I think the only way I will get answers is if I share with the world around me.  Yes I know we might not have all the answers but some time the bit of advice we get from each other really come in very handy.

One of the complicated questions I have is what is the primary purpose of a human’s life on earth? Because if there is no purpose for which we live for is it really important for a human being to inhabit the earth?

Beside worshipping God and telling him he is holier than any other god, I always strife and fight to find my place in this ungodly and unshaken, fearless world of ours. And sometimes my findings are not exactly what I fully expected; now tell me what’s a sister going to do to find her real place in this world?

We both want to be remembered for something isn’t it? But then are those things that we want to be remembered by good or bad, or maybe just in between? Some wants to be rulers of the earth, some wants to be ruled, some wants to be famous and rich while others are purely satisfied with having just enough to get them by the next day. But the most important thing is who do you want the world to remember you as?

I know some people might say why is it important what the world remembers you for because by that time you will be gone and you won’t even hear a single word they utter in praise or curse? The thing is we don’t know what the other side looks and feel like, maybe those ones who have already crossed over can hear or even see us but that’s not important. What’s important is that the desire to be remembered by something makes us work harder to achieve our goals.

People often work harder if there is an intrinsic motivation as to why they should be working that hard.

God gave us a life and he also gave us our talents as gifts, I think the world is the centre stage to showcase our gifts. So go out there and do whatever you want to be remembered by, shine if you want to be remembered as a star and you can become cloudy and moody if that’s what you want us to remember you by. Be kind and generous enough if you want to be remembered as that kind of person, at the end it all comes back to one judge, the world.
