Everything belongs to you, and you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God 1Corinthians 3:22
With that being said am sure it leaves you puzzled and left to wonder what am I trying to say and why that specific scripture. I choose the scripture because it seems so profound that none can exist without the other.
So am left to ask what kind of relationship do you as a living person have with God?
Before you answer that lets go in further on spiritual wellbeing and what it can possibly entail because spirituality can sometimes end up being a controversial topic due to different religions and beliefs. But let’s put all that aside for a minute and focus on the point behind this controversial issue.
It is said that our bodies are the temple of God (1 Corinthians 6:19) so technically we’re walking churches every day of our lives meaning the place we go to every Sunday or at least every Sunday is a place of praise and worship. What this means is you can have an intimate relationship with God without the church service. Let’s face it sometimes going to church is hard and not cause it’s an effort but because of the judgemental looks, the pressure to behave a certain way and the holier than thou people.
Let us also bear in mind that we are created in Gods very own imagine, so who is to say a person is imperfect? For God fashions our hearts individually (Psalm 33:15) basically implying that every each uniqueness we possess completes a piece of God.
Okay let me not attempt to climb the holier than thou horse but spiritual wellbeing is vitally important. God is the very essence of life and that requires us to be in fellowship (praying, fasting, being faithful, reading the bible) with him on a daily basis and not just in crisis for his word is our daily bread and not a cake we can eat on special occasions.
Am sure some of you may be asking does God really exist? Well look at all the beauty around you and you’ll get the answer to that. Sure some of you may not have a relationship with God or may not know how to initiate one with him but it’s not all that hard because there is no instructional booklet directing you as to how to have a relationship with thee almighty. So I say however which way you want to communicate with God is correct for God dwells in you as you do in him.
As am about to end this I hope you are now able to answer the question I asked earlier on having evaluated your standings with God who so dearly paid the ultimate price for you (1 Corinthians 6:29) with complete honesty for you won’t be fooling just yourself but the spirit that lives within you.
