MAKEBA CENTRE FOR GIRLS PREPARING FOR MANDELA DAY.

The Makeba Centre for Girls is designed to offer a specialized, yet focused care environment and employment to a wide range of qualified and useful service providers in order to create an ideal setting for the young girls’ self-improvement.  The girls are enrolled in elementary and high schools at the same time to enhance their education. On Mandela Day, they intended to clean, paint, and renovate the center both inside and out, but in order to do so, they required the community’s help. The goal is to make sure that the young girls have access to programs that will help them regain their feeling of self-respect, discipline, and community as well as their sense of hope for a future that is both economically and socially sustainable.They would appreciate donations of paint, cleaning materials, lunch and refreshments to ensure the day goes as

Imisebeyelanga Services is a Non-Profit Organization. It encompasses places like Temba, Soshanguve, Swartdam Mabopane, Ga-Rankuwa, Klipgat, Moeka, Ga-Mmotla, New Eersterust, Winterveldt, Ratjepane, , and Soshanguve. In 2007, Imisebeyelanga Services received a request to help non-profit organizations (NPOs) remain compliant with government requirements and to provide management training for NPOs in a variety of skills. Helping with fundraising and money management falling under this category. Their responsibility is to make those in need’s,  life better, especially those who desire to be empowered, trained, and involved in their communities.Imisebeyelanga Services has established a strong track record with numerous government departments and national/international donors as one of the chosen service providers throughout its existence. K&M FOUNDATION ALL ABOUT COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT.

The K&M  Foundation, which is based in Mabopane, north of Pretoria, was founded by Koketso Donald Matjiane and Molemo Justen Modisakeng. The organization was founded in November 2021, and its first event was conducted in December, when they invited 129 young children from the neighborhood to come and have fun. They had arranged for jumping castles, swimming pools, and single parents to help with food and to ensure that the children were not injured while playing. “For our recent event we wanted to show love to the elders in the community by hosting a special day for them because they know that some of their children work far away from home and are only left with the little ones,” Koketso Matjiane said. “By hosting this event, we want to show them that we’re still here with them and that they’re still part and parcel of the community by bringing elderly parents together.”  He went on to say that the grandparents were chosen after going door to door handing out invitation letters, visiting local churches to hand out invitation letters so that church leaders could read them to the congregation, and finally informing their colleagues about the event so that they could spread the word and invite parents from their communities. They didn’t have any partnerships when they held the event, but Mogale Pharmacy contributed 48 bottles of water. They mostly paid for the event out of their own pockets because some people alluded to the short notice. Mrs. Mamkgopa, a local citizen from Mabopane Block A, thanked everyone who attended the ceremony and recommended the organizers to pray because they might face opposition. By: Khensani Khoza.
