Fiks and Portia

Last night was the night of the bunch of winners, I guess we’ll have to wait for the name to be officially changed. For those who didn’t know twerking was declared recreational by our Honorable Minister of Sports and Recreation he who “has brought oxygen” to the Department of Sports and Recreation *I wonder if they’ll be butt support grant for the one’s with “disadvantaged backgrounds” lol*, ai enough about Fikile Mbalula I’m not his praise poet he got enough praise at last night’s SA Sports Awards.

Bafana set the stage for the awards as they continued where they left off under the guidance of Bra Shaaakes.  Ntate ona maan has no chill o shapa fela(this man has no chill he beats any team that comes his way), his Bafana “B team” beat Ivory Coast 2-0 in the Mandela Challenge on Sunday(30-11-2014), SA’s got talent.  Mr Shakes was later awarded with the Coach of the Year award. Amongst other notable winners are our Pretorian cyclist Ashleigh Moolman Pasio who also won the #Unite4Mandela race, she won the Sportswoman of the year award, while golden boy Chad Le Clos won Sportsman of the year, our Pretoria Matthews Mpete won the Journalist of the year with Portia Modise walking away with the main award the Sports Star of the year award, wa thinta umfazi wa thint’ imbokodo(you strike a woman you strike a rock).

Despite the weekend ending on a high its start wasn’t as great with the Boks being the main weekend disappointed. The Boks lost to Wales 12-6, first it was the Irish now the Welsh. I guess the boys are so May Mahlangu (tired) and they need to come home get some rest and deal with their handling problems ahead of the World Cup next year. Being clumsy will not be allowed next year. The good thing about losing to such teams ahead of the World Cup is that they’ll be able to approach every match with one intention that is to win whether it’s “minnows” or big teams they’ll never underestimate any team.  I also like that we’ll be approaching the World Cup as under dogs or should I say sleeping giants *evil smile*looking forward to the World Cup. I hope Heyneke Meyer approaches Bra Shakes ahead of the World Cup for some tips.

Titan’s kwenzenjani(what went wrong) if it was soccer the coach would be gone. They played to a tie against Warriors, won against Dolphins, lost against Lions and then lost against Warriors yesterday. Go padile pal (it’s all over) better luck next year maybe they’re also May Mahlangu (tired). Back to good news AB Mdeva(AB de Villiers) is still the number one ranked ODI player in the world and he’s also pretorian #Net4Control.  The Nelson Mandela Legacy Cup T20 is back this Friday and its Proteas vs Boks, Proteas won the last time but Boks are looking to beat the Proteas at their own game we’ll wait to see. When are the Proteas playing rugby vele lol.

The PSL will be back with midweek fixtures starting tomorrow after a Telkom Knockout final break which saw Matsatsantsa a rona beat Dikwena 3-2 to win the TKO Cup, the City of Champions title has been re-instated Pitori ena maan (this Pretoria though)! The cream of Pretoria will be against each other in the Pretoria derby on Wednesday (3-11-2014), I wonder bosso ke mang (who’ll be boss)?  The AFCON draw is scheduled for Wednesday (3-11-2014) we need to have a half night prayer tomorrow to avoid being in the group of death.

I guess it’s appropriate to say KE DECEMBER BOSSS!
