How did that happen? That’s the one question on most South Africans minds whether you’re a rugby lover or follower or not but if you read something like “Boks lost to Ireland” you’d think something is wrong, even Bafana wouldn’t lose to Indian national soccer team or at least I hope they won’t. Heyneke Meyer is saying “we let South Africa down” but not only that bare tlhabisitse dikgala (embarrassed us). Such mentality of labelling other teams as minnows should be left at O.R Tambo when they go to the World Cup next year and SARU should make them carry Bibles they’d really learn a lot from David and Golliath. Anyway enough with preaching I guess Sunday fever is still upon me, if they’re reading this they’ll know what to do next match against England. For those who don’t know our Boks were humbled by Ireland 29-15. Their next match will be against England on Saturday (15-11-2014).

As if that wasn’t enough yesterday (09-11-2014) the Proteas lost to the Aussies in their 3rd and last T20 match, handing Aussies a series win. After winning their first match on Wednesday (05-11-2014) they went on to lose their 2nd and 3rd matche by 1 run margins ewu amadlozi e cricket a si dunusele (the cricket gods are showing us their backside/turned their backs on us). To top to that sadness we lost Duminy to a knee injury, the most positive thing we can draw from all that is that we played a young inexperienced squad and they played quite way fought until the end the future looks bright. The ODI series will start this Friday (14-11-2014) and the Proteas will have to do without Duminy who has been sent home due to injury, either way we can’t wait for the ODI’s.

The Telkom Knockout Cup semi finals were on this past weekend and two of our Pitori teams were playing. First up was Matsatsantsa against Pirates and it seems like the mourning period for Bucs players hasn’t ended as they lost 2-0 to Matsatsantsa. Matsatsantsa didn’t capitalise on Bucs’s grieving state they used their chances ijob ijob in the professional world you have to pick yourself and fight. Let’s hope the international break will help them heal. Masandawana dintshang hee(what’s wrong), the team has gazillion strikers but they still can’t score. Funny how we’re quick to say “fire the coach” why can’t we fire the players? I bet Pitso sometimes feels like Downs players never loved him no wonder he is unable to can deal sometimes ewu but kuzo lunga (it’ll all get better in time) they lost 1-0 against Dikwena. The final will be against Dikwena and Matsatsantsa, Pitori is well represented.

Bafana and Bra Shakes visited Senzo Meyiwa’s grave today (10-11-2014) to pay their respects, some may say it was a way to find closure while others say they were there to ask Senzo’s spirit to be with them when they play this coming Saturday (14-11-2014) and Wednesday (19-11-2014), well if that’s the case then I guess Sudan and Nigeria don’t know what’s coming their way they should be very scared *evil laugh lol*. Who do you think should be in the posts for Bafana? In case you didn’t know the candidates are Siyabonga Mpontshane, Brilliant Khuzwayo and Darren Keet. Have your say, either one they choose will have big shoes to fill, oh how I hate crime. Good luck boys a bashwe!
