NO LOVE LOST BETWEEN BANYANA AND BOTSWANA BUT NO LOVE FOUND EITHER.

If winning a match by 10 goals to nil doesn’t boost Banyana’s confidence heading into the African Women’s Championships (AWC) that will be held in Namibia in the coming month I don’t know what will. In the match that promised goals from the day it was proposed it sure didn’t disappoint. The match was held at Rusty Dusty (Rustenburg) on Saturday (13-09-2014), you’d swear the whole team scored except the goal keeper,  but it wasn’t that way Portia Modise scored 5 goals with the rest being scored by  Makhabane(brace), Jane, Mollo and Ngubane.

Amajimbos (under 17) got one step closer to qualifying for African Junior Championships (AJC) when they beat the African giants Egypt’s junior side 2-1 also in Rustenburg. The second leg match will be held in Egypt (ga Faro) a win or a draw for them will see them through to AJC. Things are really looking up for South African soccer Banyana, Amajita, Amajimbos are also on the verge of qualifying and things aren’t looking bad for Bafana either. Can we host Phillip (WC) again this December there’s a huge chance we might win it you know, yes/no/maybe? Oh well.

For Boks it was yet another close but yet far away for the second time in a row. Ever felt like being led to the door but not handed the key? The thought of kicking and breaking the door did cross their minds but that didn’t help, the door must’ve been metallic. They narrowly lost by 14-10 to the all Blacks, the Haka boys had their hearts in the mouths and next time they’ll spit them out and they know, their next match will be at home against the Wallabies on the 27th of September. Good to see Bulls read my last column *lol* and kept the consistency when they beat Eastern Province Kings 28-13, their next match will be against the champs Sharks this coming weekend you don’t want to miss that.

Ka mmao Pitori ya e baka, Pretoria snatched Varsity Cup with the guys from Tuks beating UJ by 1-0 and the TUT ladies thrashing Tuks by 5-0, Capcity the city champions indeed. GI got off to a good start when Matsatsantsa beat Dikwena 3-1, Downs won 1-0 against Siwelele Pitso’s job is still safe, Tuks lost 2-1 to Makhosi a babayo, Wits lost to Bucs for fourth time this year pity Gavin Hunt isn’t in touch with his emotions.  The rest of the results are as follows Ajax continued their impressive start by winning 2-1 against Free State Stars, Amazulu and Polokwane drew 2-2, Maritzburg Utd and Aces played to a dull draw, Swallows got swallowed 2-0 by Chippa Utd.

In case you didn’t know let me keep you updated otshwane le bana ba bangwe, wafa wafa is here ene ase papadi ya magwala(not a game for cowards) who’s gonna be the coward and who’s gonna be the last team standing? Come Saturday night at Moses Mabhida we’ll know who’s boss between Amakhosi and Mabhakabhaka, oh and don’t even think of pulling stunts the tickets are sold out. Some already think they won hehe I don’t wanna talk much.

ENJOY!
