BOKS, WHAT’S THE WORST THAT CAN HAPPEN NOW?

“Underestimate minnows at your own peril”, that’s the lesson Bafana and now Boks can attest to. So the Rugby World kicked off on Friday(18-09-2015), where the hosts England defeated Fiji 35-11 in their opener. Some would say it’s too early in the tournament to be talking about upsets, but Japan has already provided that by beating the Boks 34-32 without implementing  any karate. Just like Bafana the Boks have once again humiliated the nation and again Heyneke Meyer  is sorry, well the only apology we’ll accept is one named the Webb Ellis Cup.

It went from perfect start to a sink in form for the Bulls as they suffered their second consecutive defeat in the Currie Cup, and this time to Western Province whom they’ve defeated just a month ago. The bulls lost 29-14 to Western Province on Friday(18-09-2015). The less said about rugby this past weekend the better.

The Political Soccer League(PSL) took a bit of a break this past weekend due to the MTN8 Final, the only fixture was the one between Pirates and Aces where both teams shared the points with a 1 all draw.  19 September 2015 was the date set for the MTN8 final, where the best two teams Kaizer Chiefs and Ajax had the chance to battle it out. If the saying “once a champion always a champion” applied in sports then Chiefs would still be champions unfortunately they lost 1-0 to Ajax.
